US Director

This exciting position of US Director for Viva is a unique opportunity to make a significant difference to some of the poorest, most vulnerable people in the world in the name of Christ. You will give many thousands of children a voice by enabling them to connect with a world where their plight is still, unhappily, a well kept secret. You will manage a small team of dedicated income generators who are passionate about making Viva the first choice for donors who care about children and the Christians who work with them. And you will have the rare opportunity to aid in building a United States presence for Viva at the same time. This is truly a chance to make life changing differences.

The Job

As part of the Global Mobilization Team, the US Director will play a critical role in implementing the vision and direction of Viva's development strategy. The director will be the vision keeper for building Viva in the US, and the US spokesperson for one of the most advanced child development programs in operation. As a passionate child advocate, the director's job will be to connect Americans to the scandal of children growing up hungry, hurting, and homeless. The scope is almost limitless and the job will be to sequence growth from small beginnings in the US into an important and integral component of Viva's worldwide presence. The US Director will report to the US Board and the Global Head of Mobilization. Over time, there will be opportunities for recruiting, training, and supervising several US-based staff as well.
