About Viva

Viva helps the church help children-at-risk. Our job is to get the church working, working well and working together for the very poorest children around the globe.

Viva does that by grouping church based projects together in networks and providing training and small grants to assist them in accomplishing their missions. This enables local Christians committed to making a difference in their community, to do a lot more than if they carried on working alone, under-resourced and ill equipped.

Today Viva supports 7260 local church-based projects reaching 1.2m children. Major Christian organizations (including World Vision, Compassion International, and World Relief) partner with Viva - as do other countless numbers of smaller, indigenous organizations in various countries.

Viva's international office is in Oxford, UK. We currently have regional centers in Latin America (San Jose, Costa Rica), Africa (Kampala, Uganda), India (Delhi) and Asia in addition to a growing support center in the United States.

Together we can do so much for the hungry, hurting and homeless children of our communities.
